Mike and Kim Clinard launched Clinard Properties in 2014 with the vision to develop premier retail centers in major master planned communities. In 2021, they expanded into residential ranchette communities with a vision of providing low-density development with luxury ranchettes on large tracts of land.
Under the name Ranches at Real Estate, they are behind the Texas Hill Country properties at Ranches at Sentinel Peak in Fischer, Ranches at Round Mountain near Marble Falls, and Ranches at Dripping Springs, just west of Austin. Mike started with Cardtronics at the beginning of their ATM venture in 1997 and was instrumental in the growth and success of the company, with annual revenues nearly $1.5 billion and a market value as high as $2+ billion. He served as Chief Operating Officer and President of Global Services. Mike has also served on various boards throughout his career.
They live a God-centered life and have their own ranch in the Texas Hill Country where Kim pursues her passions for birds, nature, and taking care of animals, including their llamas, goats, horses, longhorns, cows and chickens. Mike and Kim have a family of five — Madie, Kait, Jack, plus Trevor, who married Madie in 2019.
Mike is no stranger to managing large-scale operations. Prior to starting Clinard Properties, he spent 18 years with Cardtronics, a global leader in managing ATMs. As CEO and President of Global Services, he was instrumental to the company’s success and growth.
The couple has been married for 27 years. Mike was born and raised in Houston, and Kim is from Southern California. They raised their three children, Madie (age 27), Kait (age 25) and Jack (age 20), in Katy, and are delighted that Madie’s husband, Trevor Conn, is involved with their company and contributing to its success.
